Alpine Business Consulting is a specialized team dedicated to fixing enterprise performance management and reporting systems that have lost their way. Often, a company invests in complex planning tools only to find that the implementation cut corners, leaving finance teams to deal with numbers that do not match and month-end closes that take far too long. We step in to configure these systems properly or build new ones from the start. Our consultants have spent years working with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics stacks, bringing real-world experience to every project.
Our partner is a Berlin based organization currently refining their internal financial reporting structures. We are assisting them in establishing a single source of truth for their data, ensuring their leadership can make decisions based on reliable information. To support this engagement and others like it, we are hiring a Junior Project Coordinator. This is a permanent, full time role that is fully remote, allowing you to work from your own environment while collaborating with a distributed team of experts.
The role
In this position, you will work directly with our senior consultants to keep projects moving forward according to our fixed-price agreements. You will be responsible for the administrative and organizational side of our client engagements. This means tracking project milestones, updating task lists, and ensuring that meetings with our partner in Berlin are scheduled and documented properly. You are the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks while the technical team focuses on system configuration.
A significant part of our value is the documentation we provide. We do not believe in keeping clients dependent on us. You will help compile configuration guides, training manuals, and handover documents. These materials ensure that once we step back, the client has everything they need to remain independent. You will also assist in monitoring project budgets and timelines to ensure we stay within the scope of our initial quotes, providing transparency to both our team and the client.
What we need from you
Working at Alpine Business Consulting means you will learn the realities of enterprise consulting without the typical corporate fluff. You will be mentored by senior professionals who value predictability and clean data over buzzwords. Because we prioritize a single source of truth, you will learn how to build systems and processes that actually solve problems for finance teams. This is a paid position, and the compensation is competitive for an entry level role in this market.
We provide a stable, remote working environment where results and clear documentation are valued more than office politics. You will gain exposure to high-level projects with international partners, starting with our current work for the organization in Berlin. This role provides a solid foundation for a career in project management or business consulting, offering a clear view of how complex implementations are managed from start to finish.
