OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Policy Analyst to support policy research, analysis, and development initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about public policy, data interpretation, and delivering actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Conduct research and analysis on current and emerging policy issues, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Gather, review, and synthesize information from various sources, including legislation, reports, and stakeholder feedback.
Draft policy briefs, discussion papers, and summaries for internal and external communication.
Support the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and reports for senior analysts and leadership.
Track policy developments and trends relevant to organizational priorities.
Assist in stakeholder engagement activities, including consultations, surveys, and coordination of meetings.
Maintain databases, records, and documentation to ensure efficient knowledge management and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, or a related discipline.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present clear conclusions.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data or research tools is an asset.
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior team members.
Familiarity with government policy processes or public administration.
Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, or Excel pivot tables).
