Would you say you have a natural ability to "think bold" and out of the box when it comes to design? In particular, presentation designs? Do you have a flair for creating great visuals and can write copy to match your ideas? If so, this role may be just for you.
Working for one of the nicest and ground-breaking agencies you could ask for in the healthcare/pharma space. The Junior Designer will support the account teams in delivering creative work through thoughtful design and visual storytelling.
You will;
- Create engaging designs for social media – both static and animated
- Develop simple motion graphics and GIFs for campaigns and content
- Edits short-form videos for use on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and client websites
- Design compelling PowerPoint slides and templates that tell stories visually and go beyond the norm
- Format and adapts materials to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across client projects
- Support in preparing pitch decks, brand guidelines and visual mock-ups
- Design and format Word documents and PDFs to ensure they are visually engaging, on-brand
- Design with the end user in mind, creating materials that are clear, engaging and easy to navigate
- Stay on top of visual trends in healthcare, digital storytelling and social content
As skilled and versatile designer;
- Demonstrate strong layout, composition and typographic skills
- Bring a natural flair for colour, balance and flow
- Understand branding principles and applies them consistently across assets
- Adapt visual styles and tone to suit different clients, audiences and project needs
- Produce accurate, high-quality work to tight deadlines, maintaining creative integrity
Essential
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- PowerPoint: advanced storytelling through design, animation, and layout
- Canva: for quick-turnaround content creation
Desirable
- After Effects or Premiere Pro: for short video edits and light-touch animation
- Figma or XD: for collaborative digital design and prototyping
- AI-assisted design tools (Adobe Firefly, Runway, D-ID or similar)
Experience in healthcare or scientific communications is a bonus, but not essential.
The role is remote with an expectation to go to their beautiful London offices once a week and/or during client meetings.
