Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team in New Jersey. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about data, problem-solving, and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data while contributing to reporting and dashboard development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Assist in preparing data-driven insights and presentations for stakeholders
- Support senior analysts with advanced data modeling and forecasting tasks
- Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role (internships included)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Exposure to databases and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of ETL processes
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and reporting frameworks
