We are looking for a talented Copywriter (Web Marketing) to support website content creation and optimization initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing compelling, user-focused, and SEO-friendly web copy in English that enhances the customer journey and drives engagement and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation and/or monitoring of web page development within the Content Management System (CMS), including editing and creating written content in English and/or French
- Support in the project management and publishing of key strategic projects (Financial Releases, global campaigns, etc.)
- Improve the user experience on the corporate website by ensuring pages and user journeys are on-brand and aligned with the UX and SEO best practices, in compliance with CMS requirements
- Stakeholders management (provides project management and content strategy support in English and French)
- Use web analytic tools (Contentsquare, Google Analytics) to support projects and optimize the user experience using data-driven insights
Requirements
- Proven experience (1-2 years) as a Copywriter, Content Writer, Web Copywriter, or similar rol.
- Excellent written communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency).
- Strong understanding of web marketing, digital communication, and conversion-focused copywriting.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Experience adapting content to different audiences, channels, and brand voices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of web user journey design and customer experience principles.
- Experience with UX Writing methodologies.
- Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) best practices.
- Understanding of website structure, content strategy, and information architecture.
- Experience working within international or multilingual digital environmets.
