Job Title: IT Support Technician (Remote)
Location: Remote – United Kingdom
Salary: £14 - £18 per hour (depending on experience)
Apply4U is hiring on behalf of our client for a reliable and tech-savvy IT Support Technician. This remote position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys solving problems and providing exceptional support to users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote access
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage user accounts and permissions (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software
- Maintain detailed logs of support issues and solutions
- Support onboarding and offboarding of users
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk)
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus
