The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the IT Desktop Support Technician (m/f/d) role will make an impact:
- You provide desktop infrastructure support to local and regional business partners
- You manage and support endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, and iOS devices
- You deliver hands-and-feet support for infrastructure teams and ensure proper escalation
- You assist with asset management and maintain accurate IT inventory
- You coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and senior management for effective service delivery
- You ensure compliance with internal Information Security Policies and GxP qualification standards
- You participate in local and regional IT project coordination
- You maintain documentation related to equipment disposal and ensure timely handling
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- 7 - 9 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure services, or desktop management
- Solid understanding of network configurations, IT systems, and common enterprise hardware/software
- Experience in working with senior stakeholders and end-user support
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Familiar with data center environments and local project execution
- Fluency in English and good German skills required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
- Friendly working atmosphere in a great team, Great Place to Work® certified
- Home office option up to 3 days per week
