Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Investment Research Scouts to identify, research, and introduce qualified investment opportunities and themes to our investor and fund manager network.

This is not an employment role. Investment Research Scouts operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once Approved, Investment Research Scouts

• Identify investment opportunities through research, networks, and market monitoring
• Submit researched, high-signal opportunities into the Initio Sphere platform
• Collaborate with capital allocators and sponsors on live opportunities
• Earn transaction-based compensation on deals that close
• Build a verified research-driven sourcing track record within the ecosystem
  
  

This role is ideal for professionals who consistently surface opportunities early through research, pattern recognition, and industry proximity.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Investment Research Scouts May

• Identify investment opportunities through sector research, trend analysis, and proprietary insight
• Source off-market or lightly intermediated deals informed by research findings
• Provide structured deal context (asset overview, market dynamics, structure, economics, investment thesis)
• Introduce opportunities to Initio Sphere’s investor and sponsor network
• Coordinate early-stage diligence handoff to analysts and investment teams
  
  

Investment Research Scouts do not underwrite transactions, build financial models, raise capital, or market securities.

Eligible Opportunity Types

Based on approval and demonstrated research credibility, Investment Research Scouts may submit opportunities across:

• Commercial real estate (multifamily, industrial, retail, mixed-use)
• Private equity, growth equity, and platform roll-ups
• Operating businesses and special situations
• Structured, opportunistic, or thematic investments
  
  

Opportunity categories are approved based on experience, research quality, and relevance to investor demand.

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Success-based compensation only (no hourly pay)
• Typical earnings range from $1,000 to $10,000+ per closed transaction
• Compensation paid upon successful transaction close and fee collection
• Economics vary by deal size, structure, and Scout contribution
• No cap on earnings for consistently high-quality, research-backed deal flow
  
  

How Investment Research Scouts Get Activated

• Submit an Investment Research Scout application with background and sourcing or research experience
• Complete verification and opportunity category approval
• Get activated within the Initio Sphere platform
• Begin submitting researched opportunities to the network
  
  

There is no cold pitching and no blind outreach to funds. Approved opportunities are introduced through curated, platform-driven channels.
