Role Description
Westlake is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented investment banking intern to support our team on a variety of strategic and analytical initiatives. This role offers exposure to real-world transaction processes and firm operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research projects across industries, markets, and prospective client segments
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and internal materials
- Compile and organize financial and operational information from public and private sources
- Contribute to analytical workstreams as needed, including data review and basic modeling tasks
- Participate in team calls, project discussions, and ad-hoc assignments
- Provide general support to senior team members on ongoing projects
Qualifications
- Strong interest in investment banking, finance, or related fields
- Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment
- Curiosity, initiative, and comfort working in a dynamic setting
