THE ROLE

We are seeking Investment Associates to join our expanding team of entrepreneurial dealmakers.

In this role, you will operate as a consultant and effectively run your own business within Costa Norte:

  • You manage your own pipeline
  • You develop your own deal flow
  • You drive both client acquisition and investor sourcing

This is not a financial analyst role. It is a sales-driven, research-informed, deal-oriented position designed for those who excel in fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIESClient Acquisition & Deal Sourcing
  • Sign new clients and introduce them to the most relevant investors in our global network.
  • Continuously source startups preparing to raise capital or pursue M&A.
  • Qualify prospects based on industry, technology, competitiveness, and financial readiness.
  • Pitch and present new clients in internal team meetings.
  • Take full ownership of the sales cycle — from early outreach to closing.


Investor Sourcing & Relationship Management
  • Identify, source, and match the right investors (VC, PE, CVC, HNWI, Family Offices) to each client.
  • Initiate introductions and coordinate calls and meetings with investors.


Additional Responsibilities
  • Build your own deal flow through partnerships and ecosystem relationships.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and contribute to internal process improvements.
  • Maintain a genuine passion for helping entrepreneurs succeed.
  • Add strategic value to startups across various sectors and stages.
  • Thrive in a high-velocity, entrepreneurial environment.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven ability to create and maintain a strong deal flow.
  • Demonstrated track record in sales, negotiation, and closing clients.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with founders, executives, and industry leaders.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset — hunger, ambition, and ownership.
  • Excellent project management skills and capacity to juggle multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Analytical thinker able to quickly evaluate companies, markets, and opportunities.
  • Creative, resourceful, and driven by measurable results.
  • Experience in high-growth tech startups, venture capital, M&A, consulting, or business development is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English is highly desirable.
