Accountabilities
- Develop interior and architectural designs aligned with project goals, budgets, and client needs.
- Collaborate with senior designers, architects, and project managers to create innovative design solutions.
- Conduct space planning, layouts, feasibility studies, and design presentations.
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and project documentation.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures while ensuring compliance with building codes, ADA regulations, and sustainability guidelines.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to integrate design elements effectively.
- Participate in site visits, surveys, and construction administration activities.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and milestones while maintaining high design quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform design decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in interior or architectural design.
- NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure preferred or actively pursuing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling/rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and collaboration tools such as Teams.
- Strong graphic, presentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, sustainable design principles, and material procurement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and organizational skills.
- LEED accreditation and experience in commercial, hospitality, or workplace design preferred.
- Familiarity with MEP coordination, furniture procurement, and construction documentation is a plus.
- Competitive salary within a range of $80,000–$115,000, based on experience and qualifications.
