At True, our Instructional Designers are passionate about writing content and enthusiastic about working with external and internal development partners.
Responsibilities:
- Approach all interactions, both internally and externally, with a consultative vs an order-taking mindset.
- Work under the direction of the Senior Writing Manager to create documentation about training strategies/recommendations for multiple modalities.
- Write the content, using the client-approved training strategies/recommendations for guidance.
- Work directly with clients through multiple channels (calls, Teams chat, email, and so on) to discuss everything from gathering requirements, to working through feedback, to final delivery.
- Hand off your writing to creative and interactive teams, who are tasked with bringing your written materials to life.
- When needed, work with trainers to ensure alignment for live deliveries.
- Participate in the quality checking of all final products once they are built to ensure error-free deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role
- Strong process-oriented background
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to quickly assess and summarize information and effectively identify issues or risks and potential resolutions
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Expert proficiency in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Experience working in or in collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry, particularly around developing training materials, preferred
- Experience working with clinical processes, workflows, and systems as well as all Veeva products/platforms preferred
