Implementation Specialist - Construction Prefabrication Software

Location and Territory: Within 4 hours of Atlanta, Georgia, USA – Remote (Travel Required)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Company

The construction industry is undergoing a quiet but significant shift. More work is moving off the jobsite and into controlled fabrication environments where mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems can be built faster, safer, and with far greater precision.

This company sits right in the middle of that shift.

They develop purpose-built software designed specifically for construction prefabrication shops. Their platform helps contractors plan, manage, and optimize fabrication workflows, from spool drawings and production planning through to shop floor execution. By connecting the office, the fabrication shop, and the field, they help contractors improve productivity, reduce waste, and deliver projects faster.

Their customers include forward-thinking MEP contractors who are investing heavily in prefab and manufacturing-style operations to gain a competitive edge.

As adoption continues to grow across North America, they are now looking for someone who understands fabrication from the inside to help new customers successfully implement the platform and unlock its full value.

Role Overview

The Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring customers successfully adopt the platform and integrate it into their fabrication operations.

This is a highly customer-facing role that combines software implementation, industry consulting, and hands-on training. You will guide contractors through the onboarding process, helping them translate their real-world shop workflows into a digital environment.

Because this software is designed specifically for fabrication shops, the ideal person for this role understands how prefabrication operations actually work, whether that comes from managing a shop, running machinery, or leading fabrication teams.

You will work closely with customers, but also act as an internal advocate for them, providing feedback to Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to help continuously improve the platform and the overall customer experience.

Where You Will Make a Difference

  • Lead end-to-end software implementations for new customers, ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding experience.
  • Guide contractors through the process of integrating the platform into their fabrication workflows.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions for a wide range of users, from shop floor staff through to operations leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them identify opportunities to improve fabrication efficiency through better processes and technology.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer by sharing feedback, feature requests, and improvement ideas with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Document implementation workflows, training materials, and best practices to build scalable onboarding playbooks.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a consistent and positive customer journey.

Who You Are

  • Hands-on experience within the MEP construction industry, ideally with exposure to prefabrication operations.
  • Practical experience working in or managing a mechanical or electrical fabrication facility.
  • Experience working with manufacturing machinery, shop equipment, or fabrication processes.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and software systems used in construction or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to train and educate users with different technical backgrounds.
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience in onboarding, consulting, or implementation-style roles.
  • Problem-solver who can translate real-world shop challenges into practical solutions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite implementations and customer training.
