We’re seeking a freelance Illustrator to support a short-term, fast-moving creative project centered on visual storytelling. This assignment focuses on bringing a culturally rooted narrative to life through illustration, with an elevated, refined aesthetic that thoughtfully blends cross-cultural influences. This is a project-based engagement with a tight turnaround and flexible scope—ideal for an illustrator who excels at translating cultural storytelling into polished, expressive visuals.
HOURLY RATE: $30-40/hr
LOCATION: Remote (PST preferred)
DURATION: ASAP for approx 1 week
What You’ll Do
- Create original illustrations that support a heritage-driven brand narrative
- Translate creative direction into a refined, elevated visual style
- Blend East-meets-West aesthetic influences in a cohesive, modern way
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to align on tone, style, and deliverables
- Execute efficiently within a quick-turn timeline without sacrificing quality
What We’re Looking For
- Strong illustration portfolio showcasing a polished, elevated aesthetic
- Experience with heritage-based, cultural, or narrative-driven illustration
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craft
