Position: Human / Social Science – AI Trainer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30–$80/hr

Location: Remote

Duration: 10–40 hrs/week, flexible and asynchronous


Requirements: (Training support will be provided)

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BSc) in Human Sciences, Social Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field
  • Strong qualitative research and analytical skills
  • Ability to evaluate written content for nuance, tone, bias, and contextual accuracy
  • Native or near-native English proficiency
  • Strong cultural fluency with US or Western European norms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to emotional nuance, conversational flow, and human-centered reasoning
  • Strong critical thinking and judgment-based decision-making ability
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams


Preferred:

  • Prior experience working with AI, LLMs, or content evaluation projects
  • Background in user research, behavioral research, or content moderation
  • Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI and human-centered design
  • Experience annotating, reviewing, or scoring text-based outputs
  • Exposure to analytics or qualitative data interpretation tools


Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and curate training datasets informed by human and social science perspectives
  • Perform qualitative analysis on AI-generated content for relevance, sensitivity, and accuracy
  • Evaluate AI outputs for cultural alignment, ethical considerations, and human realism
  • Provide structured feedback to improve AI behavior and decision-making
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to refine human-centric training signals
  • Document insights clearly through written reports and annotations
  • Contribute to best practices for ethical, inclusive, and culturally aware AI training
  • Stay current with trends in social sciences and human-centered AI development
