About The Role

The Human Resources Specialist at ScriptPro plays a vital role in supporting our organizational goals by managing employee relations, HR operations, and recruitment activities. This position is responsible for handling sensitive employee matters, ensuring HR processes are executed efficiently, and supporting hiring initiatives to attract top talent. The role requires a proactive approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive employee experience. As a key member of the HR team, you will collaborate closely with management and staff to promote a healthy, compliant, and engaging workplace environment, while contributing to strategic HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and employee separations
  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience, including interviewing and sourcing candidates
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and performance management processes
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and collaborate effectively
  • Strong organizational and process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Lead corrective action processes, including performance improvement plans, written warnings, and disciplinary actions
  • Manage employee separations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Respond to Unemployment Insurance claims and participate in hearings as needed
  • Conduct workplace investigations related to employee conduct, policy violations, and workplace concerns
  • Coach managers and collaborate with employees to support conflict resolution and positive outcomes
  • Serve as a point of escalation for sensitive employee issues, supporting the HR Director and leadership
  • Manage employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews, equipment retrieval, and documentation
  • Handle general HR administrative tasks such as HRIS updates, recordkeeping, reporting, and process documentation
  • Contribute to policy creation and updates to the Employee Handbook
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, including system and process improvements
  • Support culture-building initiatives within the organization
  • Assist with new hire orientation to ensure a positive onboarding experience
  • Support recruiting efforts by participating in candidate interviews, communication, reference checks, and background checks
  • Draft job descriptions and offer letters in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and manage administrative recruiting tasks with Talent Specialists
  • Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support HR team objectives
