Position: Human Resources Consultant, Except Payroll and Timekeeping
Type: Contract
Compensation: $59 – $111/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel documentation including recruitment records, training files, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and leave records.
- Record and validate employee data such as earnings, absences, production outputs, supervisory reports, and termination records.
- Explain personnel policies, procedures, and benefits programs to employees and applicants while contributing knowledge to AI training datasets.
- Assist in administering employee benefits and workers’ compensation programs while providing structured inputs for AI learning.
- Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility, examinations, salaries, benefits, and HR policies with accurate documentation suitable for AI model training.
- Collaborate with data annotation teams to structure HR scenarios and datasets for AI development.
- Evaluate and refine AI-generated HR content to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with HR best practices.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in human resources excluding payroll and timekeeping functions.
- Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and employee benefits administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to process and organize complex HR and personnel information accurately.
- Strong analytical skills with focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Comfortable using digital collaboration platforms and HR information systems in remote environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across remote teams.
- Experience contributing to AI or data annotation projects in HR is advantageous.
- HR certifications such as SHRM or HRCI are preferred.
- Experience in training delivery or change management initiatives is a plus.
