Axiosys is an indie game studio developing Mawforged a dark fantasy, first-person strategic warfare game built in Unreal Engine 5. As our team grows, we’re looking for someone to bring order to the chaos to create structure, streamline operations, and make sure no contract, document, or onboarding slip through the cracks.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is currently a revenue-share/equity-based position as we finalize our initial funding rounds over the coming months. We're assembling a founding team of passionate professionals who believe in the long-term potential of Mawforged.
We’re seeking an Operations Manager who thrives in startup environments and can handle studio-wide organization, documentation, internal processes, and light HR.
🛠️ What you'll do
• Draft and manage studio policies, workflows, and operational playbooks
• Maintain and update onboarding materials for new hires and contributors
• Handle internal documentation, NDAs, and contract templates
• Assist with scheduling, task tracking, and meeting coordination
• Support internal communication between departments
• Keep our project infrastructure tidy (Notion, Nextcloud, Google Workspace, etc.)
• Work closely with leadership to formalize the structure and scale as the studio grows
🎯 You should have
• Strong organizational and writing skills (especially for internal documentation)
• Experience managing operations, admin, or coordination in a creative or tech team
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in structuring workflows
• Familiarity with tools like Notion, Trello, Google Workspace, or similar
• Excellent communication and follow-through across remote teams
🚨 Bonus points
• Experience in a game studio or creative startup environment
• Familiarity with contract workflows and legal basics (NDAs, freelance agreements, etc.)
• HR-lite experience (onboarding, team directories, feedback forms, etc.)
