2. About the Opportunity:


The Representative, Human Resources serves as a key contact for HR services and talent acquisition coordination. This role is critical in evaluating criminal background checks and advising hiring managers on candidate suitability. It supports recruiting and onboarding processes by managing communications, resolving inquiries, and ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements. The position contributes to maintaining workforce integrity and smooth HR operations by coordinating across multiple departments and responding promptly to critical issues.


3. Responsibilities:


• Monitor HR inboxes and respond to or escalate inquiries

• Support staffing and HR systems from requisition creation to offer processes

• Post jobs, schedule interviews, and administer temporary staffing and referral programs

• Coordinate new hire onboarding including background checks and relocation

• Manage high volume of incoming calls related to payroll, benefits, LOA, and HR system navigation

• Collect and route information to appropriate workgroups using a case management system

• Escalate critical or risk-related cases promptly

• Track and report workload and customer service metrics

• Conduct background screening adjudications including credential validation and individualized assessments

• Research candidate qualifications through external contacts and sources

• Determine background check outcomes and advise clients accordingly

• Liaise with background check vendors and track service level agreements

• Collaborate with legal, HR, and vendors to resolve process issues

• Accurately enter and report background check data in HR systems

• Communicate background check results to managers and recruiters

• Maintain knowledge of background check laws and draft required communications

• Perform special projects and other assigned duties


4. Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 1-3 years administrative experience

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information

• Ability to meet service level expectations

• Problem-solving skills applying general rules to specific issues


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:


• The base pay range for this role is $22.69 to $32.79 per hour, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location. This is one component of the total compensation package, which varies by position and location.
