About the Opportunity:


The organization is a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. The Human Resources Generalist role is responsible for providing HR support and services to managers and employees, acting as a key point of contact for employee relations, coaching, training, and supporting key HR processes. This is a remote position.


Responsibilities:


• Provide day-to-day coaching to managers to help problem solve

• Give feedback on leadership style and change management

• Offer coaching on career development, performance improvement, and navigation of company policies

• Coach managers to address conflicts and develop resolution plans

• Investigate employee complaints and develop recovery plans

• Manage and educate on the progressive discipline program

• Support talent acquisition processes and provide guidance on compensation, equity, and workforce planning

• Coach managers on career paths and development plans for top performers

• Partner with managers to identify underperforming employees and develop improvement strategies

• Support annual performance and talent review processes

• Leverage people analytics and reporting to support business KPIs and HR audits

• Translate HR policies and procedures to meet business needs

• Execute HR processes locally with a standardized approach

• Provide management and employee training

• Support annual HR processes, such as performance reviews and calibration

• Support employee social and psychological well-being programs and initiatives

• Partner with immigration attorneys for visa, green card, and work permit facilitation

• Process employee life cycle changes

• Adjudicate pre-employment testing

• Send employee welcome emails and conduct exit interviews

• Support managers during terminations

• Represent the client group in forums and client management meetings

• Participate in ad hoc HR projects

• Perform other duties based on organizational needs


Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

• 3-5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role

• Preferably holds active HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)

• Proficient in HR policies and procedures

• Strong business acumen and ability to develop HR policies aligned with organizational goals

• Skilled in interpreting external business trends and best practices

• Ability to use HR metrics, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards for informed decisions

• Experience mentoring and supporting employees to resolve issues

• Ability to develop inclusive organizational culture aligned with employee values

• Risk management skills to address employee management, recruitment, and behavior issues

• Experience in workplace optimization to boost efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict management, teamwork, accountability, agility, decisiveness, resilience, and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and in teams
