Position Purpose

This position would provide administrative and operational support to the HR team, including onboarding, record-keeping, scheduling, maintain employee records, benefits and assisting with employee communications.

Position Purpose

This position would provide administrative and operational support to the HR team, including onboarding, record-keeping, scheduling, maintain employee records, benefits and assisting with employee communications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruiting process. Such as, create & remove job postings, troubleshoot applications, track applicants and serve as main point-of-contact for job applicants regarding online job applications.
- Manage employee onboarding, including I-9 & eVerify process and background check process.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Process employee separations.
- Communicate with employees via e-mail, telephone & through an online ticketing system.
- Respond to inquiries from salon employees regarding HR matters.
- Review and process salon payroll changes, including manager changes, transfers, separations, pay changes, pay issues, payroll audits, I-9s, waivers, etc.
- Provide support to HR Generalist on employee relations and Leave of absence issues.
- Provide responses for all salon level unemployment claims.
- Conduct HR audits to ensure that all paperwork, documentation and record keeping meet company, federal and state guidelines.
- Supports compliance training by tracking training attendance and results as needed.
- Support benefits administration, as needed.
- Provide LMS Support, as needed
- Degree in Human Resources or Business preferred; SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or an HR Assistant position.
- Experience working with large employee populations
- Experience with onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HR systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
- Adapts seamlessly to organizational changes, adjusting workflows and approaches to achieve results.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Compensation for this role falls between $50,000-$60,000 and will be determined based on experience, skills, and alignment with the requirements of the position.
