OverviewWe are looking for a reliable Human Resources Assistant to support HR operations, including recruitment, employee records, and administrative tasks. This entry-level role helps maintain smooth HR functions and contributes to a positive workplace culture.
Assist with recruitment by posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Maintain employee files, update HR databases, and ensure accurate records for payroll and benefits.
Support benefits administration, performance reviews, and employee relations inquiries.
Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and training materials.
Coordinate events, track compliance, and handle confidential information with discretion.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1+ years in administrative or HR support; knowledge of employment standards.
Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR), MS Office, and Google Workspace.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
HR certifications (e.g., CPHR student) or experience with Canadian labour laws.
Customer-service mindset and attention to detail.
Practical HR experience across full employee lifecycle.
Pathways to HR coordinator or specialist roles with mentorship.
