2. About the Opportunity:
The HR Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the organization’s growth by enhancing its culture, streamlining HR operations, and managing the employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution, contributing to building the HR infrastructure and influencing long-term talent strategies during a critical growth phase. The position supports the organization’s workforce as its most valuable asset and operates in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead employee lifecycle management including onboarding and offboarding
• Manage and optimize the HRIS to ensure data accuracy, audits, and reporting compliance
• Maintain employee files and support reporting cycles such as EEO and ACA
• Provide coaching on performance management, conflict resolution, and career development
• Run performance review cycles and track completion
• Manage documentation and HRIS workflows
• Administer benefits programs and assist with compensation benchmarking
• Support payroll operations including changes, accuracy reviews, and inquiries
• Maintain and update the Employee Handbook and internal policies to ensure legal compliance
• Oversee EEO-1 reporting, state new hire reporting, I-9 management, and worker’s compensation coordination
• Partner with leadership on initiatives to foster inclusion, morale, and a high-performance remote culture
4. Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience, preferably in technology, SaaS, or high-growth startups
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• SHRM-SCP or PHR certification highly preferred
• Advanced proficiency with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, UKG, or Workday, and collaboration tools like Teams and SharePoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally
• Proactive in identifying employee experience friction points and proposing scalable solutions
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Budgeted pay range $85,000—$110,000 USD
