HR Operations Expert (Contract)
Role Overview
Design and evaluate structured HR operations workflows across employee lifecycle, compliance, and HRIS scenarios.
Engage in precision-driven work requiring consistent, rule-based judgment.
$55 $80/hour | ~20 hours per week | Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scenarios covering employee inquiries, policy interpretation, and benefits questions
- Build lifecycle workflows including onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration
- Evaluate HRIS processes such as data updates and eligibility-based enrollments
- Create deterministic rubrics with clear, verifiable outcomes
- Review HR artifacts including policy responses, change forms, and leave decisions
Core Requirements
- Strong expertise in HR operations or people operations workflows
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems, benefits administration, or compliance frameworks
- Ability to interpret and produce HR documentation with precision
- High attention to detail with consistent rule-based decision-making
- Clear, structured written communication with step-by-step reasoning
