About The Role
The Human Resources Generalist at Astrion is a vital member of the HR team, responsible for supporting various HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that promote organizational growth and employee engagement. This role involves partnering closely with HR Operations, HR Business Partners, and managers to deliver innovative HR solutions aligned with business objectives. The HR Generalist will manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, handle employee relations issues, assist in performance management, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Additionally, the role requires analyzing HR data, tracking key metrics, and providing insights to leadership to inform decision-making. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional to contribute to a dynamic organization committed to excellence and continuous improvement. This is a remote position based in the U.S., with occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR or a related discipline
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preferred: Experience with HRIS platforms such as UltiPro and ICIMS
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus
- Implement and support HR strategies and initiatives that foster a culture of engagement, innovation, and flexibility in alignment with company objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with divisional leadership, HR centers of excellence, finance, security, and shared services teams
- Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations
- Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of employee records within the HRIS system
- Analyze HR data and metrics to generate insights for HR and business leaders
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
