About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our Fulfillment Human Resources Team. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager and plays a vital role in supporting core HR functions and enhancing the employee experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and other HR-related activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to contribute to a growing organization while developing their HR expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. They should have between 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in operating standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines is essential. Familiarity with HR systems, MS Office, and Google Workspace is preferred. Candidates with HR certifications such as SHRM, PHR, or HRCI will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruiting process, including conducting second-round interviews, making offers, and managing referral policies.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and oversee the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration and completion of HR documentation.
  • Manage administrative activities related to employee benefits, including health, dental, vision insurance, open enrollment, 401(k) plans, and life insurance.
  • Support employees with leave policies such as Medical, FMLA, Disability, and Workers’ Compensation, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including timecards and personal information, to facilitate accurate payroll processing.
  • Record absences and lateness, monitor attendance policies, and communicate issues to leadership as needed.
  • Address employee questions regarding payroll and benefits, handling all inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist leadership with performance appraisals and support ongoing employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all employee and company information.
  • Handle escalated personnel matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Perform additional HR duties as assigned by the SupplyHouse Leadership Team to support organizational goals.
