Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of human resource functions including personnel administration, benefits, payroll, and time & labor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Working knowledge of employment and benefits legislation
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Adept at learning and working with new technologies and systems
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- 2+ years of HR experience, particularly in benefits or payroll (preferred)
- Experience managing U.S. leave and disability programs via external vendors (preferred)
- Experience with Workday HRIS system (preferred)
- CIPD Certification (preferred)
- Bilingual abilities (preferred)
- Support the maintenance of HR data integrity by executing day-to-day system transactions related to assigned programs and policies
- Administer U.S. leave of absence and disability programs by coordinating with employees, managers, and external vendors
- Manage absence data within payroll and HRIS systems, ensuring accurate recording of paid time off during approved leaves
- Review, audit, and process vendor billing and HR/Benefits invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks across multiple HR systems to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors
- Respond to colleague queries via a centralized mailbox, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs)
- Troubleshoot user issues for employees, managers, and HR teams, providing training and guidance on HR systems and best practices
- Participate in HRIS system testing, issue resolution, and system enhancements to improve functionality
- Maintain and support various reports for internal stakeholders to facilitate HR decision-making
- Create and update documentation of standard HR processes and procedures for consistency and compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records both electronically and physically as appropriate
