Job Title: Helpdesk Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking a Helpdesk Administrator to provide remote technical support for a secure government environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting end users, and an active security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 IT support to end users in a secure environment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues remotely
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
- Support Windows/Linux systems, email, and enterprise applications
- Perform user account management (Active Directory, password resets, permissions)
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 or engineering teams
- Document issues, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance
- 2+ years of experience in Helpdesk / IT Support / Service Desk role
- Experience with:
- Windows OS (Windows 10/11, Server)
- Active Directory
- Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.)
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD / Intelligence Community (IC) environments
- Familiarity with Linux systems
- Experience with remote support tools
- Certifications such as:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Security+ (often required for DoD roles)
