Job Title: Helpdesk Administrator

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Clearance Required: Active Secret


Job Description:

We are seeking a Helpdesk Administrator to provide remote technical support for a secure government environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting end users, and an active security clearance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 IT support to end users in a secure environment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues remotely
  • Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
  • Support Windows/Linux systems, email, and enterprise applications
  • Perform user account management (Active Directory, password resets, permissions)
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 or engineering teams
  • Document issues, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • 2+ years of experience in Helpdesk / IT Support / Service Desk role
  • Experience with:
  • Windows OS (Windows 10/11, Server)
  • Active Directory
  • Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD / Intelligence Community (IC) environments
  • Familiarity with Linux systems
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • Certifications such as:
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Security+ (often required for DoD roles)
