Compensation: $50,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Equity + Health Benefits


About 9Putt

9Putt is a golf brand specializing in high-end training aids that bridge the gap between skill development and gamification. After establishing a strong product-market fit with our patented 9Putt mat, we are ready to scale our operations. We are looking for our first full-time employee to lead our sales division and drive expansion into retail.


The Role

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sales strategy and execution. This is a "player-coach" role—while you will eventually build a team, your initial focus will be on opening new accounts and establishing the 9Putt brand within the golf industry.


Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Retail Expansion: Identify, prospect, and close accounts with national retailers and boutique golf pro shops. (In other words: close deals to get the 9Putt mats on the shelves in stores like Golf Galaxy, Dicks Sporting Goods, Scheels, PGA Superstore, Target, etc). And get 9Putt on the shelves in as many golf course pro shops around the country as possible).
  • Direct Sales Execution: Manage high-volume outreach via phone and email; represent the company at industry tradeshows and regional events.
  • Sales Infrastructure: Implement and manage CRM systems to track leads, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.


Qualifications

  • Proven Track Record: Experience in B2B sales, preferably within the golf, sports, or consumer goods industries.
  • Startup Competency: Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment and build sales processes from the ground up.
  • Communication: Exceptional professional writing and presentation skills for pitching to retail buyers and corporate executives.
  • Network: Existing relationships within the golf industry or retail distribution is a significant advantage.
