About Just Badge

Just Badge is an AI-focused R&D studio and digital agency building at the intersection of AI and the future of work. We've been deep in AI R&D since December 2022 — three years of building, testing, and shipping. Our team has tested over 1,000 AI applications, built 15+ websites and micro-apps, and maintains 100+ active tool subscriptions powering our infrastructure.

We're a small, senior team of operators with 15+ years of experience each across startups to Fortune 1000 companies. We build systems, not slide decks.

What We Do

Our primary offering is the Authority Engine — a B2B demand generation system that creates research-backed thought leadership content featuring a client's ideal customers, then distributes it across 400+ media outlets. The result: guaranteed backlinks, qualified leads, and warm pipeline at a fraction of industry cost.

We also run Badge Labs, helping non-technical founders validate ideas through clickable prototypes, polished demos, and functional betas before they commit to full development.

The Role

We're looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing to join as a founding team member and own the entire revenue engine. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a company with three years of built infrastructure and a clear monetization path — not a blank canvas.

You Would Own

  • Client acquisition for the Authority Engine ($5,500-7,500/month per client)
  • Badge Labs sales to non-technical founders ($5-20K per engagement)
  • Pipeline strategy and execution using our existing outreach infrastructure (1,500+ enriched contacts, 15-channel distribution system, 2K/day cold email capacity, LinkedIn automation)
  • Partnership development and strategic relationships
  • Go-to-market strategy and positioning
  • Building out the sales function as we scale

What We're Looking For

  • 8-15+ years in B2B sales, marketing, or revenue leadership
  • Experience selling services or SaaS to mid-market and enterprise buyers
  • Strong with content-led, thought-leadership-driven, or consultative sales motions
  • Deep understanding of demand generation, pipeline building, and outbound + inbound strategy
  • AI-fluent — you don't need to be technical, but you understand the landscape and can speak credibly with AI-forward executives
  • Builder mentality — you're energized by creating processes, not inheriting them
  • Comfortable in an early-stage environment with high autonomy

Compensation

This is a founding team position at a pre-revenue, infrastructure-rich company. Compensation is equity-based, reflecting the significance of the role and the long-term upside. We're looking for someone who values ownership and is motivated by building something substantial.

90-Day Expectations

  • Land 3-5 Authority Engine clients ($20-35K MRR)
  • Activate outreach pipeline using existing HumanX database and distribution infrastructure
  • Scope Badge Labs opportunities
  • Establish repeatable sales process

Three years deep in AI. Built the entire infrastructure described above — every website, every system, every pipeline. Leads product, engineering, and strategy. Looking for a counterpart who can match that intensity on the revenue side. 20 years of experience across tech startups and enterprise.
