About Us: Silex is an award-winning and VC-backed LegalTech startup based at EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne, building the next-generation AI-powered legal platform. Our ambition is to create the infrastructure layer for legal intelligence, the foundation on which legal professionals will search, reason, draft and manage knowledge.


 

 Job Description: We are looking for a rare kind of Head of Marketing.

Not someone who wants to manage marketing from a distance, but someone who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up.

Someone who understands that in an early-stage startup, marketing is not a department, it is a growth engine, a narrative, and a strategic weapon. Someone who rolls up their sleeves, takes ownership, and makes things happen.

 

 

 Key Responsibilities:

·     Own and define the overall marketing strategy

·     Build and execute a powerful go-to-market strategy to accelerate customer acquisition.

·     Develop a strong category positioning and narrative at the intersection of law and AI.

·     Drive demand generation and growth, from early traction to scalable growth systems.

·     Lead product marketing, ensuring clear positioning, messaging, and market education.

·     Build and execute a content and thought leadership strategy to position the company as a leading voice in LegalTech and AI.

·     Design and implement high-impact marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

·     Collaborate closely with founders, sales, and product teams to align marketing with company strategy.

·     Manage and coordinate external partners (design, CRM, content, etc.).

·     Build and scale the marketing function and team over time.

 

 

Who You Are:

·     You have experience in B2B SaaS startups, ideally in early-stage or high-growth environments.

·     You combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills.

·     Creative and proactive, with a “can-do” mindset and a willingness to take initiative.

·     You have an owner mentality and take full responsibility for outcomes.

·     You are extremely hands-on and comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments.

·     You thrive in building things from scratch rather than managing established structures.

·     You know how to translate complex products into clear, compelling market narratives.

·     You are comfortable working with external partners and multidisciplinary teams.

·     You are curious, ambitious, and motivated by building something meaningful and impactful.

·     You want to help build a company that can define a new category in LegalTech.

·     Strong written and verbal communication skills in French, English and German.
