About Tutorelli
Tutorelli is entering one of the most valuable opportunities in global education. The UK tutoring sector alone is worth £7–8 billion, with revision and exam preparation adding another £2 billion. Globally, supplementary education exceeds £160 billion, and the sector is now being reshaped by AI, personalisation and structured learning models.
Despite this scale, most platforms still operate as marketplaces: thousands of freelancers, inconsistent quality, and parents messaging tutor after tutor across subjects to find someone reliable.
Tutorelli is the opposite of that.
We operate a tutor-led education model, not a marketplace.
International Applicants
We welcome exceptional global candidates. During the trial you may work remotely. Once performance is proven and funding is secured, the role transitions to being UK-based, and Tutorelli will sponsor a UK work visa at that stage.

If you are UK-based, interviews will be held in person. At this senior level, alignment on both sides matters, and in-person discussions are the best way to ensure that.
How the Model Works (Technology + Teaching System)
Parents visit Tutorelli, select their child’s year group and subject, view sessions already running (tutor profile, fixed day and fixed time), and book for the entire academic year in one click.
This is the opposite of the marketplace model — no endless profiles, no chasing replies, no guessing who’s good. The teaching system is already built, and tutors deliver structured weekly Oxbridge-methodology tutorials.
What happens after each lesson:
- Students receive revision materials (quizzes, notes, recording)
- Elli, our AI revision companion, generates flashcards across all subjects and year groups
- Weekly progress is tracked for parents, students and tutors
- Visibility and accountability are built into every class
This creates an experience marketplaces or independent tutors cannot deliver.
The Role — Head of Growth & Marketing
We are looking for an exceptional, performance-driven growth leader - someone who has delivered meaningful results and can operate at a senior founding-team level.
You will work directly with the Founder to build Tutorelli’s commercial engine:
You will lead:
- Meta performance marketing
- Acquisition funnels and conversion optimisation
- Website & landing page CRO
- Retargeting
- Creative direction and messaging
- CAC, CPA, LTV analysis
- Full funnel reporting and experimentation
You will also support:
- Go-to-market strategy
- Investor narrative and presentations
- Early fundraising preparations
This is a senior, high-ownership role for someone who wants to shape a company from the earliest stage and build the commercial foundation of a category-defining EdTech.
Who You Are
- You have delivered real, measurable growth
- You bring strong Meta performance experience
- You understand creative testing, messaging and funnel dynamics
- You are commercially sharp (CAC, LTV, unit economics)
- You can speak confidently in investor-facing conversations
- Experience in B2C, EdTech, or UK education is highly desirable but not essential
First 3 Months (Trial Period)
This phase is execution-focused and traction-driven:
- Launch and optimise paid campaigns
- Test creative rapidly
- Build and refine funnels
- Track CAC/CPA weekly
- Generate early traction and bookings
- Provide insights for investor discussions
Equity is awarded after the trial based on performance and commitment, with vesting thereafter.
Compensation
During trial:
- Small monthly stipend
- Optional capped revenue share
- No salary until funding
- 3-month proving period
Post-trial (if successful):
- Senior leadership title retained
- ~1.5%–3% equity, vesting over time
- Salary unlocked post-raise
