As part of our continued expansion into regulated and crypto-enabled gaming environments, we are seeking a highly experienced Head of Development iGaming to lead and scale our engineering division. This role will drive the architecture, development, and optimization of a high-load, multi-product iGaming platform serving international markets.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a technically advanced gaming ecosystem with full ownership of development strategy, team scaling, and platform performance.
- Define and execute the overall development strategy for a scalable iGaming platform (casino, sportsbook, or hybrid).
- Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams (backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, data).
- Architect high-availability, low-latency systems capable of handling high transaction volumes.
- Oversee integrations with payment providers, game vendors, wallet systems, and third-party APIs.
- Ensure platform compliance with regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Implement best practices in CI/CD, code quality, security, and infrastructure scalability.
- Collaborate closely with product, compliance, and executive leadership to align technology with business growth.
- Optimize system performance, uptime, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous innovation in platform features, gamification mechanics, and performance analytics.
- Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role within iGaming.
- Strong background in scalable distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar).
- Experience managing engineering teams of 15+ developers.
- Deep understanding of gaming platform architecture, payment flows, bonus engines, and risk systems.
- Experience with high-load transactional environments.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance in gaming markets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and remote team management skills.
- Professional-level English proficiency.
- Competitive annual salary: SEK 1,650,000–1,900,000, plus performance-based incentives.
