Our apps are state-of-the-art when it comes to mobile ordering, payments, loyalty, CRM, and marketing, helping restaurants build direct relationships with their customers.

 

The Role

Our platform is already powering leading restaurant brands globally, and we are now expanding into Germany and Western Europe. To lead this expansion, we are looking for a Head of Business Development to build our commercial presence in Germany and develop partnerships with exciting restaurant brands. An existing network in the German restaurant space is essential for this role.

 

What You Will Own

Market Expansion

  1. Own and drive Cata’s commercial growth in the German restaurant market
  2. Identify and close partnerships with restaurant brands and QSRs
  3. Represent Cata in leading restaurant tech events
  4. Establish Cata as a key technology partner within the German restaurant ecosystem

 

Revenue & Pipeline

  1. Drive the full commercial funnel from lead generation to deal closure
  2. Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline with strong deal velocity
  3. Lead negotiations and manage the full sales process
  4. Own the full customer success journey and be the number one person of contact for key and AAA accounts

 

Strategic Relationship Building

  1. Leverage your existing network within the German restaurant industry to unlock new opportunities
  2. Build trusted relationships with founders, operators, and decision makers across F&B groups
  3. Represent Cata at industry events and within the broader restaurant ecosystem

 

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  1. Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging restaurant brands
  2. Help shape Cata’s go-to-market strategy in Germany
  3. Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams to adapt the product and messaging for the market

 

What We’re Looking For

You are commercially driven, deeply understand the restaurant industry and have an extensive existing network within the industry.

 

You likely:

  • Have 7–12 years of experience in B2B / software sales or business development in the restaurant sector
  • Have strong relationships within the German restaurant ecosystem – especially to QSRs, larger brands and expanding concepts
  • Have worked with restaurant technology, POS, SaaS, payments, or hospitality solutions
  • Have experience selling to multi-location restaurant brands
  • Are comfortable owning full-cycle sales from prospecting to account success journey
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
