Aspris are hiring for a Head of Behaviour and Inclusion to join our Central team who will be responsible for leading and driving the strategic approach to positive behaviour, inclusion and attendance across all specialist schools and colleges within Aspris.
This role will ensure that settings provide safe, nurturing and highly inclusive environments that meet the needs of pupils with complex Autism and SEMH needs, and to ensure that the Aspris settings meeting the compliance measures for regulatory expectations of behaviour, inclusion and attendance.

- Strategic Leadership of Behaviour, Inclusion & Attendance
- Working in partnership with the Education Quality Team as part of the Education Service Delivery Model Full and Themed School & College Reviews
- Liaising with the Head of Team Teach to drive specific KPIs for Behaviour and Inclusion in Schools and Colleges
- Develop and implement the group’s Behaviour, Inclusion and Attendance strategy aligned to national frameworks and statutory guidance for Ofsted, Estyn, Education Scotland
- Provide expert advice to Headteachers and Senior Leaders to improve behaviour culture and inclusive practice aligned to Trauma Informed, Autism, Thrive and Emotional Literacy.
- Monitor and evaluate behaviour data, inclusion KPIs and progress of vulnerable groups.
- Monitor and evaluate attendance data, including Aspris benchmarks and progress of pupils and groups
- Lead improvement actions in priority schools & colleges in accordance with our own Quality Assurance Standards or where inclusion, attendance or behavioural culture requires strengthening
- Successful leadership experience within specialist or alternative education
- Proven track record of improving behaviour, attendance, inclusion and outcomes for pupils with SEND/SEMH
- Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice (England) or ALN Code (Wales) or ASN Framework (Scotland)
- Skilled in behaviour & attendance analysis, risk assessment and crisis management.
- Knowledge of KCSIE or equivalent
