The Role

As a Growth Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving user acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth by optimising the customer journey and product features. You will be using a combination of digital product management, marketing, and analytics skills to identify opportunities, test hypotheses, and implement solutions that enhance customer experience and increase conversion rates across Avea website.

Tasks

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to increase customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all product lines.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify growth and upsell opportunities and measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
  • Design and run A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and optimise product features, marketing campaigns, and user experiences.
  • Work closely with marketing and relevant internal teams to align growth strategies with company goals.
  • Gather and leverage customer feedback to inform product improvements and new feature development and enhance the onboarding process to increase retention.
  • Define, track, and report key performance metrics and conversion rate, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay informed of industry trends and identify potential growth areas to inform product strategy.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap with growth-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

To give you a glimpse on what you will be working on:

In First 3 Months You Will

  • Understand the product and the market.
  • Run initial experiments such as A/B tests or product feature optimizations
  • Build tailored landing pages for chosen products/bundles for different traffic sources (Meta/Google/Influencer)

By 6 Months You Will

  • Focus on optimising key areas like user onboarding and purchase flows to increase engagement and conversion rates.
  • Have established strong collaboration with different stakeholders aligning them on product led growth goals and initiatives.
  • Contribute to and execute on development of our in-house App

By 12 Months You Will

  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives, such as entering new market segments or developing new features that drive long-term customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Contribute significantly to the product roadmap, proposing new features or improvements that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Scale experiments that have proven successful

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Product Management: 3-5+ years of experience in Product management, particularly in fast-paced environments like eCommerce. Experience specifically in growth-focused roles is highly preferred.
  • eCommerce Expertise: Familiarity with the dynamics of the eCommerce industry, including customer acquisition, conversion rate optimization (CRO), retention strategies, and knowledge of platforms like Shopify, or custom-built systems.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to extract actionable insights from user behaviour data, and use them to inform product strategy, as well as leverage data to optimise the customer journey,
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Proven success in refining product features and user experiences through experimentation and testing (A/B tests or other experimentation frameworks aimed at driving growth)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with marketing, design, and sales teams to prioritize growth initiatives and ensure alignment.
  • User experience: A strong understanding of user experience (UX) and the ability to place customer needs at the center of growth strategies.
