The role
Neurotechnology is moving quickly, with innovation across brain-computer interfaces, neuromodulation, neuroimaging, consumer neurotech, and adjacent tools shaping the field. At Neurofounders, we cover this landscape through clear, high-signal reporting for founders, researchers, investors, and operators.
We’re looking for a part-time Growth & Content Intern to help expand two core channels: the Neurofounders Instagram and our email newsletter.
This is a narrowly scoped role focused on audience growth, content execution, and channel development. It is well-suited to someone strong at turning complex material into clear, engaging content formats and who is interested in helping build a niche media platform from the inside.
What you will do
You’ll work closely with Dominic (Founder & Editor) to help grow Neurofounders’ reach and consistency across Instagram and email.
Instagram Growth & Content (75%)
- Support the growth and day-to-day development of the Neurofounders Instagram
- Turn articles, news, and research into clear, platform-native post concepts
- Draft captions, carousels, post ideas, and light community content
- Help test new formats, hooks, and content angles
- Work on new ways to visualize content
- Track what performs and feed insights back into the content process
Newsletter Support & Growth (25%)
- Support production and packaging of the Neurofounders newsletter
- Help improve newsletter structure, positioning, and consistency
- Assist with audience growth ideas, subscriber capture, and channel experimentation
- Prepare short summaries, blurbs, and promotional copy tied to new content
- Track newsletter performance and suggest practical improvements

Who we look for
- Strong writing and communication skills
- A sharp eye for what makes content clear, engaging, and worth opening or sharing
- Interest in media, content, newsletters, audience growth, or science communication
- Interest in neurotechnology, neuroscience, healthtech, or emerging technology
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Able to turn dense information into concise, readable content
- Bonus if you have experience with Instagram content, newsletters, Mailchimp, or analytics
Practical details
- Time commitment: 10 hours per week
- Minimum duration: 4 months
- Start date: Flexible
- Employment type: Freelance contract
- Compensation: Based on experience and hours per week.
- Location: Remote, preference for EU/UK hours, but all candidates are invited
