Fermata is expanding in the Netherlands and we’re looking for a hands-on Agronomist / Scout to work directly with greenhouse growers and support the adoption of our AI-based crop monitoring platform. This is a field-based, client-facing role with regular travel across the Netherlands.
- Visit greenhouse sites and support onboarding of Fermata’s AI solution
- Work closely with growers to integrate the platform into daily crop management
- Provide agronomic insight on pests and diseases in tomato, cucumber, and pepper crops
- Validate AI detections and share structured feedback with our Product & AI teams
- Build strong relationships and understand growers’ needs and pain points
- Degree in Agronomy / Horticulture / Plant Science
- 3–5+ years of greenhouse experience
- Experience in a customer-facing, advisory, or Customer Success role
- Practical knowledge of protected cultivation pests & diseases
- Strong communication skills with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Comfortable with travel and working directly with growers
