About The Role

The position of Mediengestalter / Grafikdesigner (w/m/d) as Content Manager is an exciting opportunity to join DG Nexolution's Marketing Services Business Unit on a full-time basis in Wiesbaden. This role is initially limited to one year, with the possibility of extension, and offers a chance to contribute significantly to the company's digital content and customer engagement strategies. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth processes within the WegFrei portal, the marketing portal of Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken. Your tasks will include managing content updates, maintaining the marketing plan module, and supporting the integration of new applications through testing and development. You will work closely with product management, portal management, and other business units to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness. Additionally, you will serve as a key contact for internal and external clients, providing expert advice and support. This role requires a blend of creative design skills, technical understanding, and strategic thinking to enhance the customer experience and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a completed apprenticeship or degree in media design, graphic design, business administration, or a related field, with at least five years of professional experience in content management. Proficiency in working with CMS and editorial systems is essential, along with a strong background in creating and populating content templates. You should have excellent skills in image editing and graphic programs such as Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. A solid technical understanding of print and digital media is required, with experience in web development and digital content creation considered advantageous. Familiarity with project management methodologies and digital environment workflows will be beneficial. Strong advisory skills, customer focus, and goal-oriented thinking are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the seamless operation of the WegFrei portal and marketing platform processes, including pricing, order processing, contract management, and invoicing. You will monitor product performance through key business metrics and generate comprehensive reports to inform strategic decisions. As a key account manager, you will advise and nurture relationships with clients, supporting their strategic development and enhancing their overall experience. Content management will be a core aspect, involving the upkeep of digital content, managing the marketing plan module, and coordinating with various teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance. You will also be responsible for integrating new applications into the portal, managing testing activities, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders with technical and content-related inquiries. Your role will require proactive communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to evolving digital trends and technologies.
