About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and further developing our brand’s visual identity across various media. Your creative expertise will support the design and refinement of print and digital materials, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines and strategic goals. You will work closely with the management team to translate concepts into compelling visual stories, contributing to the creation of catalogs, marketing materials, social media content, and packaging designs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess a relevant educational background, such as a degree or comparable qualification in graphic design, communication design, or media arts. A minimum of five years of professional experience in graphic design is required, demonstrating a strong portfolio of print and digital projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, is essential. You should be adept at creating print-ready materials and web-optimized images, with a high regard for detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude are vital, along with fluency in German and good command of English. Knowledge of photography and video editing is advantageous, and willingness to travel for trade shows and events is preferred.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and updating our biannual print catalog, incorporating high-quality photographs from our studio. You will develop various print marketing materials such as flyers, posters, brochures, and advertisements in line with our branding standards. Creating engaging graphics, banners, social media posts, mock-ups, and website visuals will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and customizing product packaging elements like labels, stickers, and wrapping bands. Tasks also involve photo editing, including masking and color correction, to ensure visual consistency. You will support product development activities by liaising with manufacturers, managing sample orders, and maintaining clear communication with the management team. Representing the brand at trade fairs and events will also be part of your duties, requiring travel and on-site engagement.
