About The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Brand Creative and Marketing teams. This full-time position offers flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setting at our headquarters in Draper, UT. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both print and digital media. As a key contributor, you will bring our visual identity to life across multiple platforms, including digital campaigns, print collateral, social media, and product packaging. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, e-commerce, retail, and paid media—to produce compelling visual content that aligns with our brand voice and strategic goals. Your hands-on approach will involve designing email campaigns, social media assets, web banners, lookbooks, catalogs, and supporting various campaign initiatives from concept to execution. The role requires a high level of craft, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You will also play a part in shaping and extending our brand systems, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI software tools.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of professional graphic design experience, preferably with both print and digital exposure
  • Strong portfolio showcasing typography, layout, hierarchy, and editorial sensibility
  • Experience working in-house for a brand or at an agency
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and Canva
  • Familiarity with AI design tools such as NanoBanana, ChatGPT, and Claude CoWork
  • Basic knowledge of motion design or After Effects is a plus
  • Understanding of print production processes including color management, image prep, and pre-flight procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills for presenting work and incorporating feedback
  • Collaborative attitude with a low-ego approach, able to work effectively with diverse teams

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute end-to-end email campaigns for McGee & Co. and Studio McGee, including product launches, sales, and lifecycle communications
  • Create engaging organic social media content, story templates, and paid advertising units that reflect brand voice and capture attention
  • Support the digital team by designing web banners, landing pages, and homepage modules, balancing aesthetic appeal with conversion goals
  • Develop art direction concepts for seasonal campaigns, including mood boards, studio, and location shot lists
  • Lay out catalog spreads, lookbooks, and print collateral with a focus on typography, grids, margins, and image pacing
  • Assist in designing packaging, swing tags, inserts, and unboxing elements that convey brand identity in physical form
  • Prepare press-ready files, manage proofs, and oversee color accuracy and quality from concept to final delivery
  • Contribute to the ideation and development of seasonal campaigns, translating concepts into cohesive cross-channel assets
  • Build and maintain templates, master files, and reusable components to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
  • Organize and manage files within cloud and DAM systems, ensuring version control and proper asset management
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and refine brand systems including typography, color palettes, and layout standards
  • Stay informed on the latest design trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices to continually enhance work quality
