About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team on a short-term technical assistance basis for the Wadata - Niger Development Food Security Activity (DFSA). This remote position reports to the Strategic Learning Lead and is expected to provide high-quality graphic design services to support knowledge sharing and communication efforts related to the Wadata project. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop engaging visual content for a variety of communication products, including reports, success stories, case studies, technical briefs, infographics, banners, posters, and short videos. The Graphic Designer will play a vital role in facilitating the effective transfer of lessons learned, project successes, and promising approaches to diverse audiences, including community members, government officials, development partners, and funding agencies. The engagement period is estimated from August 6 to August 22, 2025, with part-time support required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, user experience design, or related fields.
- Minimum of four years of professional experience in graphic design, visual marketing, data visualization, or related disciplines.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in illustrations, graphics, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and CapCut.
- Excellent attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Ability to work methodically, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of cultural nuances to ensure culturally sensitive visual communication.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Collaborate with the Wadata team to develop, design, and edit knowledge sharing products such as case studies, success stories, technical briefs, and comprehensive reports.
- Create visually engaging graphic elements for short videos and multimedia content.
- Design and produce communication materials including banners, posters, brochures, infographics, and other visual aids for dissemination during events, press conferences, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Ensure all designs adhere to client branding guidelines and visual identity standards.
- Support the translation and adaptation of visual content into French and/or English as required.
- Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all visual materials.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of all design outputs.
- Contribute creative ideas and innovative design solutions to enhance project visibility and impact.
