We are looking for a Graphic Designer to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI.
Your expertise in visual communication, branding, typography, layout, color theory, and digital media will ensure each prompt and response is creatively sound and technically accurate. We welcome professionals from diverse design backgrounds—print, digital, UX/UI, branding—to help create comprehensive training materials that reflect real-world design workflows. You are a good fit if you:
- Have over 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field.
- Have a strong background in one or more of the following -
- Branding, logo design, and visual identity systems
- Digital design for web, mobile, or social platforms
- Creative direction and design rationale documentation.
- Typography, iconography, and color theory
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong attention to details
Preferred Qualification
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in design or visual arts is preferred
- Proficiency with industry standard tools is highly encouraged
- A well organized portfolio showcasing both conceptual thinking and execution is a plus
Role Highlights
- Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
- Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule.
- Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension.
Role Start Date
- This role will begin in early to mid-July with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
Interview Process
- You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in graphic design and visual communication.
- You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about a design topic.
- You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate.
- Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations.
Compensation and Legal Details
- You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor
- We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect
