About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic work-winning team at BAM UK & Ireland. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality templates and bespoke tender graphics for major infrastructure bids. Your creativity and attention to detail will help communicate complex project proposals visually, making our bids stand out in a competitive environment. You will work closely with bid teams across the organization to identify graphic requirements, suggest innovative presentation ideas, and ensure all visual content aligns with our branding standards. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in creating templates and presentation graphics for bids or proposals, is essential. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required. A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work within brand guidelines is necessary. Excellent communication skills, the ability to interpret client needs, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Attend bid start-up meetings to understand client requirements, project scope, and bid contributors’ views.
- Conduct research to gather relevant information and insights for graphic development.
- Collaborate with bid teams to identify graphic needs and develop creative concepts that enhance bid presentations.
- Agree on the scope of graphic work with the Bid Manager and Proposals Manager, ensuring alignment with project goals and branding standards.
- Create response templates and bespoke graphics that effectively communicate complex information visually.
- Design and refine visual content, including diagrams, charts, maps, and other illustrative elements, ensuring clarity and impact.
- Maintain consistency with BAM UK & Ireland’s branding guidelines across all visual materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovative design techniques to continuously improve bid visuals.
