About The Role

Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development through artwork production, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Assist in developing concepts, design strategies, art direction, and production for a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics, signage, and exhibits.
- Collaborate with the environmental graphics team to design a range of visual materials including graphics, maps, print layouts for exhibits, and signage.
- Work closely with clients under supervision to interpret and translate their needs and ideas into compelling design concepts.
- Prepare photo visualizations and mockups of proposed signage for placement, content, and usage to facilitate client approval and fabrication.
- Develop camera-ready artwork suitable for fabrication, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators to oversee production and ensure quality standards are met throughout the process.
- Maintain attention to detail and adhere to project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and company standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related design field (required by hire date).
- Strong background in typography and visual communication.
- Previous internship or related experience in design or visual arts highly valued.
- Demonstrated interest and skill in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design, and environmental graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) on Macintosh platform.
- Skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design quality.
