About the Role
GRO, a boutique marketing agency, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to support our design and social teams. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience creating digital assets for real client campaigns. You’ll work under the guidance of senior creatives to produce high-quality visuals across social media, web, advertising, and brand deliverables.
What You’ll Do
- Design social media graphics, story layouts, and campaign assets for multiple client accounts.
- Assist with branding projects, including logos, typography, visual systems, and style guides.
- Create marketing materials such as ads, flyers, landing-page graphics, email visuals, and presentation decks.
- Adapt designs for different platforms and sizes (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, web, etc.).
- Support the content team with light motion design or simple animated assets when needed.
- Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute ideas based on current design trends.
- Implement feedback quickly and maintain consistency with client brand guidelines.
- Help organize and manage project files for clean handoff and production.
What We’re Looking For
- Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with tools like Canva or Figma is a plus.
- Portfolio of design work (school, personal, or freelance) that demonstrates strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Understanding of social-first design and what performs well on digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Positive, coachable attitude and eagerness to learn agency standards.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut).
- Basic photo editing/retouching skills.
- Interest in branding, marketing strategy, or content performance.
