Job Description

The Graphic Design & Social Media Assistant plays a key role in bringing The Boutique Hub brand to life through content, design, and storytelling. This role combines elevated visual design, high-energy social media creation, and meticulous asset management to support the marketing team in sharing educational and inspiring content with our global community.

Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design
  • Design elevated, on-brand graphics for social media, website updates, and product launches, ensuring visual consistency across all channels
  • Create marketing materials for digital, print, and in-person activations to support events, trade shows, and brand storytelling
  • Develop ad creative across platforms (Meta, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Support larger brand initiatives including web updates, campaigns, and promotional launches
  • Maintain strong brand alignment through thoughtful typography, layout, and visual hierarchy


Social Media & Content CreationCreate educational, relatable, and trend-forward Reels, TikToks, and photo/video contentResearch trends, sounds, and formats to keep content fresh and culturally relevantPitch and produce engagement-driven posts (memes, prompts, carousels, conversations) that spark comments, shares, and savesCapture and edit short-form video and behind-the-scenes brand storytellingCollaborate with the marketing team to align content with launches and campaignsAssist with weekend posting and light community management (DMs and comments)Content & Asset Management
  • Retouch and edit product, lifestyle, and editorial photography
  • Prepare and optimize assets for all channels (cropping, resizing, naming, organizing)
  • Maintain clean, accessible file systems to streamline team workflows
  • Support content scheduling, organization, and launch readiness
  • Track asset progress and assist with approvals across campaigns
Events & Market Support (Occasional)
  • Travel 3–4 times per year to support wholesale markets and in-person events
  • Capture onsite photo and video content for social and promotional use
  • Assist with booth setup, signage, and light day-of marketing needs
  • Represent The Boutique Hub with professionalism and a team-first attitude


Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Proficiency with major social platforms and current content trends
  • Understanding of digital ad creative (Meta, Pinterest, etc.)
  •  Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Comfortable with occasional travel and weekend coverage
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and brings creative ideas to the table


Schedule & Availability
  • Standard Workweek: This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday.
  • Core Hours: As a remote-first company with a nationally distributed team, we utilize Central Standard Time (CST) for all team and department meetings. You must be available and online during our core hours of 9:00 AM CST – 5:00 PM CST.
  • Flexible Start Times: Depending on your local time zone, we offer flexibility if you prefer to begin your focused work hours before 9:00 AM CST.
  • Communication: We expect you to maintain a consistent schedule and clearly communicate your specific working hours to your manager and team to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Weekend Engagement: Because our community is active 24/7, this role includes occasional weekend hours for social media posting and community engagement.
  • Reliable Environment: Since we are "remote-first," you are expected to have fast, reliable internet and a quiet professional environment for calls and focused work.
  • Team Collaboration: Regular attendance at "all team" and department meetings is expected to ensure we stay connected and meet our members' needs.
