Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Grant Manager to join our small but very dynamic team of 8. This voluntary role is a 6-month mission with a flexible schedule, designed to help us amplify our impact despite our limited finances. With our current resources stretched, we are seeking your expert support to secure the funding and sponsorships essential for our continued growth. Your work will be at the forefront of our ambition to forge robust private-public partnerships and tap into sustainable finance—ensuring we have the resources to empower thousands of displaced professionals now and in the future.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Funding Initiatives:

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue diverse funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and innovative financing from both public institutions and private enterprises.

• Develop and implement a strategic funding roadmap that aligns with our mission and growth targets.


Grant Proposal Development and Management:

• Craft persuasive grant proposals and sponsorship pitches that clearly articulate our impact and ambitious goals.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of grant applications—from detailed budgeting and proposal submission to compliance and reporting.


Stakeholder Engagement:

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundations, corporate sponsors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.

• Represent Bevel ON at strategic meetings, networking events, and donor forums to enhance our visibility and credibility.


Data Management and Reporting:

• Maintain a comprehensive database of funding opportunities, donor interactions, and application outcomes.

• Ensure transparency and accountability through regular, detailed reporting on grant results and financial stewardship.

  • Demonstrated experience in grant writing, funding research, and managing complex funding initiatives within the non-profit sector.
  • Proven success in developing strategic funding plans and securing partnerships with both public institutions and private enterprises.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives and managing high-level stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail and accountability.
