About The Role

A private HNW family is seeking an experienced, live-in English and Spanish-speaking Nanny/Governess to homeschool two children, ages 7 and 4. The ideal candidate will deliver a unified curriculum, collaborate closely with online teachers, and provide high-quality childcare when not engaged in educational activities. This role includes international travel and requires professionalism, flexibility, and a child-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a unified educational curriculum for both children, supported by online teachers for core subjects
  • Engage the 4-year-old in age-appropriate developmental activities during the 7-year-old's online classes
  • Assist the older child with homework, reinforce learning, and clarify challenging concepts
  • Create and maintain a structured learning environment, ensuring correct posture, writing techniques, and overall study habits
  • Provide nanny support and general care for both children outside of lesson times
  • Work collaboratively with a second governess to ensure consistency in the educational approach and daily routines
  • Prepare and organize educational materials ahead of lessons
  • Communicate effectively with the family and team to support the children's academic and personal development
  • Accompany the family on international trips, ensuring continuity of education and smooth daily routines during travel
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field (advanced degrees or teaching certifications are an advantage)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a nanny, governess, or private tutor
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Valid driving license
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to respect the family's values and lifestyle
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). `
