Global Pricing Director 100% (m/w/x)

The Global Pricing Director holds a significant role in the organization, working closely with affiliates and regions, the (Senior) Pricing Director, Core Asset Team Leaders, GVA's Access Strategy and HEOR teams, and the Global Pricing Committee. This is a great opportunity for an experienced pricing and market access professional to apply and expand competencies in global pricing strategy and management, and will involve extensive interaction with global teams, local affiliates, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing strategies and policies for launch products and new (LCM) indications.
- Take full responsibility for strategic pricing projects or support the Global Head of Pricing with such initiatives.
- Represent Global Pricing and GVA teams in cross-functional projects and forums.
- Provide robust global pricing assessments for business development opportunities.
- Collaborate with local teams to support the development of solid pricing requests including business cases, ensuring country adherence to pricing policies.
- Analyze and summarize launch affiliate pricing or price change requests, coordinate the Global Pricing Committee (GPC), and facilitate effective pricing decision-making.
- Work effectively with and maintain pricing governance and analysis systems/tools and ensure that local teams use pricing systems accurately.
- Support local teams in developing tender strategies.
- Perform pricing analyses and reviews for international reference pricing, maintain reporting dashboards for core brands, and deliver on ad hoc price-related reporting or insights requests.
- Interact with related departments (e.g., Supply Chain) to ensure joined-up management of operational pricing across the organization.
- Lead pricing research with external vendors to inform global strategies.
Requirements:
- Appropriate educational background in a relevant area (e.g., life sciences or finance), at a minimum of graduate level.
- Experienced working within pricing and market access environments managing global brand pricing and strategy, either from similar positions in the pharmaceutical or consultancy environment.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant roles.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written communications; all other languages considered a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communicator.
- Excellent analytical skills, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated networking capabilities with a track record in building relationships both internally and externally to build successes collaboratively, based on understanding the motivations and desired outcomes of the different stakeholders.
